Since the 1950's, West Harvey-Dixmoor School District 147 has empowered all students and stakeholders, helping to contribute to their success.  Our mission continues, as we work to ensure that our staff and students experience a highly effective learning environment, in order to reach their highest potential.

Our District currently operates three grade-level centers: Lincoln Elementary, serving Birth to 3 - Kindergarten; Martin Luther King Elementary School serving grades 1st through 4th grades; and Rosa Parks Middle School, serving 5th through 8th grades.

The District's Administration Center is located at 191 W. 155th Place, Harvey, Illinois, where all administrative offices are located.

Regular School Year- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
 
Student School hours for grades one through eighth are 8:25 AM to 2:55 PM. Preschool and Kindergarten sessions are available through a full-day option, from 8:30 AM to 2:55 PM, and a half-day option. To request a half-day option, contact the Assistant Superintendent's office.
