According to the School Code of Illinois, no child may be enrolled in the public schools without proof of a recent medical examination and immunization record. The Board of Education does not allow students to be enrolled without proper medical and immunization records. A child must be five years old on or before September 1 of the school year in which he or she enrolls. The District requires all parents or guardians to show proof of residence before registering students.

PLEASE NOTE: No other documentation will be accepted without the approval of the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
The resident district of a homeless student is the Illinois District in which the student enrolls for educational services. Homeless students include individuals as defined in the Steward B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act.
III. School personnel must also require that the following documents be presented at the time of enrollment/registration:

Parents will be assessed for payment of tuition for non-resident students in an amount not exceeding 110% of the per capita tuition cost of maintaining the schools of the district for the preceding school year...students who become nonresident during a school term shall not be charged tuition for the remainder of the school term in which they became nonresident pupils pursuant to the School Code of Illinois.
V. Textbooks for students unable to buy them, including but not limited to children eligible for free lunches or breakfasts under the Community School Lunch Program, shall be loaned only, and shall be returned at the end of each school term pursuant to the School Code of Illinois.
VI. See school policy for fees. Waiver of school fees for students unable to afford them shall be pursuant to school board policy.
VII. All students, with the exception of Early Childhood Special Education and Pre-Kindergarten students, are required to wear school uniforms pursuant to school board policy.
