Parent Training and Parental Involvement
The Parent and Community Institute is an umbrella concept that allows District 147 to focus its resources and programs related to parent and community involvement in the Schools of our district.
Our Mission
- To provide services to students and families prior to children entering school so that children are prepared to be successful once they begin school
- To provide services to students and families that support the educational efforts of students who attend school in the District
- To provide services such as: Literacy Training, Job Training, GED Preparation, etc., to parents and the community that address the capacity of parents and the community to support the overall mission of the school.
