Parent Information - Smart Talk

"Smart Talk"
Parental Training and Case Management Services

The major goal for this program is to provide a program of prevention and intervention for families and children in need of services that will assure the children's future success in school.

This proggram recognizes that the children most at risk of academic failure are those children whose parents:

To address these issues, the major thrust of District 147's Early Childhood Program is to pursue a Prevention/Intervention Program (PIP) that would bring prevention and intervention services to the homes (or other sites) of those most at-risk of not using them or bring parents and children to the services needed.
