Progress Reports / Report Cards
Your child's teacher, principal and all of us at District #147 are genuinely interested in your child's development and progress. Report cards, issued four (4) times during the school year, are one of the methods the school uses to tell parents about their child's educational growth.
Parent interest in their child's progress in school is very important. It will be of help to your child if each time you receive your child's report card, you go over each item very carefully with him/or her.
If you have any questions regarding the report of your child's progress, we hope that you will arrange to visit the school. We encourage you to confer frequently with your child's teacher who is eager to work with you in the interests of your child's future growth.
Parents/Guardians are requested to examine the report cards carefully and acknowledge its receipt by signing in the space provided. Your signiture does not necessarily mean that you are satisfied with your child's record or our rating of his or her progress but merely that you have inspected the report.
