Office of the Principal, Dr. Whaley
Welcome, welcome, welcome!
I am both excited and humbled to serve as Principal of M.L. King Elementary, for the 2018-2019 school year.
I’m coming to district 147 with 13 years experience in education, three of those years as a building administrator and 10 years as a classroom teacher. I was born in Harvey and raised in Robbins, which is why I’m committed to giving back to these communities and ones with similar demographics.
I am looking forward to building relationships with the staff, students and the community members of West Harvey-Dixmoor. I am a firm believer that TOGETHER we can ensure that students reach their highest potential!
