Office of the Principal, Dr. Whaley
It’s so hard to believe that 2019 is here and the holidays are behind us. We celebrate the successes of 2018 which include the start of our STEAM lab, our 1st annual Fall Fest by our newly organized PTO, our continued collaboration with the LINKS Program and our work with Governors State University to be a resilient sensitive district. We look forward to doing bigger and better things in the 2nd half of the school year.
It is my goal that we finish the year strong as we work to build on the skills and strategies that our students have learned so far. We will continue to live out our vision and mission for the district by pushing our students to achieve at a higher level of academic performance, in a positive learning environment. Our daily intervention block and after school tutoring program will provide students with the support they need to grow.
Our parents play a critical role in what we do as educators. Your continued support in making sure students arrive by 8:15A.M., are in proper uniform, have the necessary school supplies and complete homework daily will help students experience success. Thank you for your partnership! If you have questions, suggestions/ideas or would like to join our PTO please contact me (708)385-5400.
