Board of Education
The Board of Education is composed of seven (7) residents of the District elected by the voters as prescribed by the Illinois School Code.
Board of Education Meeting Schedule
Regular meetings of the Board of Education are held in the Board Room at District Office. 191 W. 155th Place Harvey, IL 60426-3426 the first Monday of each month. Regular meetings are generally scheduled at 7:00 p.m. All interested citizens are welcome to attend.

Board Policy
West Harvey-Dixmoor is governed by our Board of Education Policies. The policies the guiding principles concerning, among others, Board duties and responsibilities, and policies pertaining to teachers, pupils, staff, transportation, community use of school facilities, and more. As new policies or policy changes are made by the Board of Education, they will be added to our online database. Please note, however, the District is in a continuous of review of all current policies, to ensure compliance with changed state laws or changed District practices. For this reason, please note the last revision for any District policy in which you may have a particular interest. Any questions about District policies can be directed to the Superintendent.
