PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPLY
Fiscal Year 2027 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers
In accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) guidelines, West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 provides public notice of its intent to apply for the Fiscal Year 2027 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant.
The purpose of the 21st CCLC program is to support before-school, after-school, and summer programs that provide academic enrichment, youth development, and family engagement opportunities, particularly for students attending high-poverty, Title I schools. If funded, the program will serve students at Lincoln Early Learning Center, Martin Luther King Elementary School, and Rosa Parks Middle School.
The application will be submitted to ISBE by the August 24, 2026 deadline. Community members are invited to provide feedback or comments. The application will be available for public review after submission.
